Previously, I was a minority owner and managing partner of the Long Beach Ice Dogs Professional Hockey Team of the ECHL. I have had the pleasure of working with Skip Banks on numerous occasions and would recommend Skip for just about any event setting that requires an audience to be entertained. Skip came on to the ice last year to do his Balloon Man act and had the entire audience give him a standing ovation when he was done. Skip was so popular that we brought him back for our Viva Las Vegas night to do his inflatable Elvis. The crowd went wild with laughter and wanted an encore. When I moved from professional hockey to professional baseball, one of the first things I did was call and ask about Skip's availability. Skip's act is universally accepted in any setting by fans of all ages and I am even considering hiring Skip for a large private party. More importantly, Skip Banks is punctual, reliable, and always a man of his word and a pleasure to work with. I whole heartedly endorse Skip Banks for any entertainment event. Should you have any additional questions regarding Skip Banks, please do not hesitate to call.

Fred Finger: Entertainment Coordinator  -  Menifee Oktoberfest 2005  -  Meniffe,California

Skip,

My phone has not stopped all morning.  While many have seen you do the balloon thing, they still are amazed how you do that without breaking the balloon.  But, when I first introduced you and the Presidancers, had everyone stand and played "Hail to the Chief", they thought they were going to hear a political speech. Well, we opened the door and in stroll the Presidancers. I don't know if you caught the expressions on peoples  faces, but they were taken completely off guard.  You blew them away. You were the hit of the evening and the topic of table discussion all night.
In my years with Chrysler Corporation as liaison to the movie and TV studios, I have met many entertainers; some winners, some I consider losers (hanger oners). Having first met you three years ago Skip ,I knew you were one of those "winners". I can only echo those words of Chris Price. Had you have been around in the '50's, you would for sure, have been invited to perform on the Ed Sullivan Show. Your shows are always fresh, innovative and extremely entertaining. The world needs more entertainers like you Skip.
Thanks as always for a great show.

Circus cheer for special kids
By JENNIFER WARD

Skip Banks blew up a balloon, clambered into it and continued his performance to the delighted squeals of an audience not generally accustomed or fortunate to have a theatre outing. Circus Quirkus stopped at Wagga’s Civic Theatre yesterday for three performances in front of a crowd of less advantaged and disabled children. An initiative of the Rotary Club of South Wagga, local businesses sponsored the tickets of children which were distributed and donated to ‘special needs’ individuals throughout Temora, Griffith, Tumut, Junee, Lockhart and Wagga.“They love it. They’re stunned because for most of these children it’s their first time in a theatre,” said executive officer of Wagga Civic Theatre, Kashi Cannings. Rotary has also retained an undisclosed amount of fundraising from the venture, which will be donated to Telstra Childflight and Ronald McDonald House Kids Cottage in Wagga. More than 1200 tickets were sold, making the event a success for all parties involved. “The kids get a good show, Rotary gets money to donate and it’s a great way for Circus Quirkus to sell out three shows,” said Mrs Cannings. The eight performers and crew left Cairns on June 9 and after touring through Australia to raise money for Lions, Rotary and PCYC clubs, will finish up in Bunbury, Western Australia, in late July. Although the traditional circus tent was missing, the show maintained the regular juggling, tumbling and clown routines with audience involvement. “We get them on stage and make them a part of the act – they absolutely love it because invariably they get ignored in a lot of things,” said Circus Quirkus producer Chris Price.

Mike Boggs - Corpus Christi Hammerheads

On behalf of the Corpus Christi Hammerheads, I want to thank you for an outstanding performance during our half time show.
As I was standing in the crowd during your performance I want you to know that the audience was wild about the show. You had them laughing and bouncing in their seats with you (and at you). They were amazed at the balloon tricks and the energy from you.
Once again I just wanted to thank you and hope we will have an opportunity to see your performance again.

Tracy Velazquez - Penn State

Skip, it was our pleasure to have you out here. Your act went over very well, I'm
still hearing about it! You can certainly use us as a reference. And so you
know, you performed for over 11,000 people at the game. Thanks again for doing such a wonderful
job Skip!

Mike Clements, CEO Plumas-Sierra County Fair

Word of your show spread through our town and our office staff had many calls inquiring when your show was scheduled so they could be sure not to miss you. You definitely have a unique act that all enjoy and you interact with the crowd so well. It was great having you with us.

Gene McCarthy, International Entertainment (NZ) Ltd., Auckland New Zealand

When I saw you entertain in Auckland, I was laughing so hard the tears almost prevented me from physically seeing the following act. And your second turn in the next half stunningly exceeded the hilarity of your first turn. As I told you, when you were playing Auckland, your tremendous comedic act and personality are virtually without equal...you have been a joy and pleasure to work with.

John Thornton, Chairman, Baker Theatre Trust, Perth, Austraila

Skip Banks can be compared with the best. His Elvis impersonation is the funniest, most outrageous version yet and delights all ages. As the incomparable BALLOONMAN, Skip virtually rewrites the book on visual comedy.

Greg Hegwer,  CEO 44th DAA, Colusa County Fair, Colusa California

"Skip continuously draws large crowds whenever he performs. There is never a bad location on the fairgrounds to put Skip because the fairgoers always find him. If I ever need to move patrons around the grounds I would move Skip there and the crowd would come. I have used Skip to open the Main Stage and Grandstand Shows..."

Andrew L. Rader, Sports Marketing Director, University of Virginia

"The Balloon man performance is a hit each and every time... Not one person left their seat during the halftime break... An extra-ordinary act."

Raymond R. "Roger" Gibbs, CEO, Colusa County Fair

"This is exactly what we want in the way of new and enjoyable family entertainment... Something new and unique."

Bob Elder, VP/General Manager, Anaheim Bullfrogs

"...Another outstanding performance. As usual the fans totally enjoyed your entire performance and went totally crazy..."
